In Memoriam: Joseph Forshaw IV
Joseph Forshaw IV, a lifelong member and advocate of the hearth and patio industry, passed away on November 11, 2025. He began his career earlier than most in the hearth industry, growing up and working in the family business. Joe was a part of the fourth generation of Forshaws to lead the business forward, becoming President of Forshaw in 1985. He led the retail channel of the company alongside his brother, Rick.
Joe was a keen business leader, who always led by example. After 30+ years, Joe retired in 2016. He is survived by his wife, Liza, their three children, and one grandson.
