Cindy Wise Announces Retirement from SEHPBA
After more than a decade of service as Executive Director of the Southeastern Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (SEHPBA), Cindy Wise retired in December. Wise has been a central figure in the region, known for her focus on education, member support, and building strong relationships throughout the hearth, barbecue, and outdoor living community.
During her tenure, Wise expanded SEHPBA’s training programs, strengthened outreach to the chimney sweep community, and helped bring hands-on education directly to members across the region. Her earlier experience running a fireplace business with her husband Bob shaped her practical, people-focused approach and her commitment to helping business owners grow and succeed.
As she steps into retirement, SEHPBA and HPBA extend their sincere appreciation for her leadership and the lasting contributions she has made to the industry.
